Altura Chiapas is one of the most important coffee growing regions in Mexico.
It is a blend of various varietals, fully washed coffee. It presents itself well, growing at about 1100 meters in elevation. Beans are slightly flat and the screen size is above 17. Nice deep green colour of raw coffee beans. After roasting the colour develops evenly, the extraction in the cup has a nice golden crema. The crema has a thick texture as it snaps back quickly as we break the head of the crema in the cup.
Fragrance of this coffee is freshly toasted biscuity. Mild body, medium low acidity with an aftertaste of sweet milk chocolate.
